• 105mm is largest piston that can be safely put in stock cylinder and still be used with Nikasil plating. If larger piston is used cylinder flange/skirt will crack.
• Nikasil plating offers maximum performance, reliability and engine cooling
• It is unadvisable to install steel big bore sleeve in the Raptor 700

Fuel: Stock engines can run pump fuel, But engines with 12-1 compression and higher should run race fuel. 105-112 octane. V C-12 Fuel is an excellent choice.

Horse Power Gain: 700cc Kit + 15 HP, 715cc + 17 HP

Valves: Oversized S/S valves are included in both HP4 and National Kits.

Valve size +1.0mm IN & EX

Air Cleaner: DRI strongly recommend Pro Flow Air Cleaner kit with custom K&N Filter and outerwear. Run with air lid off.

EFI Recalibration: DRI Recommends using the Vortex Interceptor (included in National Kit). Remapping is also available to existing Interceptors.

Reprogram software is also available, call DRI for details

DRI does not offer technical assistance for any EFI remapping kits other than the Vortex Interceptor

Cores Required: Customer must send in their Cylinder, Head Assy (with rockers), Camshaft.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1.HD Valve Springs are required for this camshaft.
2.Shortened Bronze Guides are required for this camshaft.
3.New or modified piston required for this camshaft. Additional valve pocket relief in piston is required due to increased camshaft lift.
4.Customer must send in stock camshaft core. If no core is supplied, customer must pay core charge of $238.00
5.Rocker arm clearance (cam lobe to rocker) must be checked .
6.Rocker arms (both IN and EX) must be modified. Due to increased cam lobe size; material must be removed from rocker arms to allow for proper cam lobe to rocker clearance.
7.Head casting must be modified to allow for camshaft to be installed in head.

CAM SPROCKETS: These cams use stock OEM cam sprockets or aftermarket slotted/adjustable cam sprockets.

ROCKER ARMS: The cams uses stock OEM rocker arms. Rocker to cam lobe clearance must be checked. On X2 Cams a rocker modification is required.

COMPRESSION RELEASE: These camshafts use the stock OEM compression release mechanism, installed and set as per the OEM Honda service manual.
