Kit Includes: Big bore 280cc piston and big bore headgasket.
* To install big bore kit customer must perform 1 of the following 3 option when purchasing this big bore kit
Customer has 3 options:
1. Customer must send in there cylinder to DRI so they can strip off Nikasil coating, bore cylinder to big bore piston and Renikasil coat cylinder.
Cost Strip-Bore-Replate $295.00 + Big Bore kit $ 265.00 (piston & headgasket)
Total $565.00
2. Customer may purchase new cylinder from DRI already bored and recoated.
Cost: New Cylinder: $299.00 + Cost Strip-Bore-Replate $295.00 + Big Bore kit $ 265.00 (piston & headgasket) Total $864.00
* Customer sends in no parts to DRI
3. Customer purchases Big Bore kit for $ 265.00 (piston & headgasket) only from DRI and
has own machine work done.
Cores Required: Customer must send cylinder to DRI for modifications for option # 2.
Machining Required: No center case machining is required. 280cc Cylinder bolts on engine like stock.
Power Gains: 1-2 HP gain depending on compression choice.
Compression Options: Kit is offered in 10-1 and 12-1 compression options.
10-1 kit can use 91 octane or higher fuel
12-1 kit must run race fuel.
Race fuel recommended VP C-12 or SONOCO STD
Jetting: Carburetor rejetting will be required. Call DRI or consult a trained professional.
Engine Reassembly: This is a critical step. Engine reassembly MUST be done properly, by a trained profession mechanic.
Break-In: For correct big bore cylinder/piston break in procedure, consult DRI TECH Center and read 4-STROKE BREAK IN

NOTES: When installing a big bore kit on your ATV it is important to make sure of a few things please take .
The lower end (crankshaft, main bearings, transmission etc.) must be in good shape and in good working order. If your lower end has a lot of hours on it or is in weak condition engine failure can result.
For proper and correct power gain, your cylinder head must be in good working condition. It is advisable to have your head, valves, valve springs etc. checked and serviced before installing big bore kit.
