2. Remove bolts securing stock reed valve and intake manifold.

3. Remove reed valve and intake manifold.

4. Clean gasket surface on intake manifold and reed surface on cylinder.

5. Apply a thin layer of grease to new intake gaskets*; there should be a gasket between cylinder and Pyramid reed valve.
All models accept the 1985-86 ATC 250R and 1986 TRX 250R do not use a gasket between the Pyramid reed valve and the intake manifold. On these models it is recommended to use a fine coat of hi-temp silicone between Pyramid valve and intake manifold.
The ’86 TRX 250R require the OEM intake B gasket between the Pyramid reed valve and the intake manifold.
DRI recommends using OEM intake manifolds (in good or new condition) with all Honda and Suzuki’s.
It is not recommended to use any type of reed spacer with Pyramid reed valves.
*Gaskets are not included.

6. Install gaskets on PYRAMID valve and intake manifold, install in cylinder.
Suzuki LT 250 and LT 500 models require and intake manifold modification.
See “Intake Manifold Modification” tech sheet for special intake manifold modification instructions.
