PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS:
Moto Gear are designed and manufactured in-house. Moto Gears principals have over 14 years of experience in gear design and manufacturing, including materials and heat-treatment processes, and almost 20 years of experience in machining.

The gears are manufactured from 18CrNiMo7-6 which is comparable to SAE/AISI 9310 high strength chromium-nickel-molybdenum case hardening steel, commonly used for highly loaded gears, aerospace applications, and high-performance transmission components.

A metallurgical analysis is performed for each heat treatment batch, including verification of the effective case hardening depth. The final values can vary depending on the gear module, tooth geometry, and component shape.

These gears are not stock oem knock-offs. MotoGears perform their own engineering verification, including gear safety calculations such as pitting resistance, tooth bending strength, material compatibility, and load analysis.

Designed to work with OEM gears. What doe this mean?
You do not need to purchase a complete transmission assembly if it is not needed.
For Example: If your transmission is in good working order except for a 3rd gear M/S and 4th Gear C/S.  You need only purchase 3rd gear M/S and 4th Gear C/S. 

NOTE: It is mandatory that any existing used OEM gears fitted in the transmission with new MG Gears MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION.
Gears with rounded engagement dogs, chipped teeth etc are UNACCEPTABLE.
A trained professional should inspect and assemble your gear stacks.

MG Gears will work with OEM shift forks in good condition.
Moto Gears Shift Forks are preferred but not mandatory

·         All gears work on OEM Mainshafts and Countershafts

ADDITIONAL ASSEMBLY NOTES:
       -     Gears must be installed by a trained professional

-          MG transmission gears MUST be installed with OEM or MotoGears transmission gears, transmission bearings, crankcases etc. in good working condition.
It is IMPERATIVE that the matting gear, and shaft are in good to excellent condition

-          Shift drum, shift fork shafts etc.  MUST be in good working order- free from any wear and tear
